The EX trim tops off the lineup with 17-inch alloy wheels, a power sunroof, and heated mirrors. It also adds chrome touches for a more polished look.
Engine
Under the hood of the 2024 Kia Soul is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine outputting 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. This engine gives enough power for daily driving, balancing performance with fuel savings. It provides steady power at all speeds, ensuring the car performs well in different driving situations.
Performance
The 2024 Kia Soul pairs its 2.0-liter engine with an intelligent variable transmission that improves performance and fuel use. This transmission system changes based on driving conditions, giving smooth gear shifts and better responsiveness. The Soul comes with front-wheel drive on all trim levels, which helps it handle nimbly. Fuel economy is slightly different between trims, with the LX, S, and GT-Line models getting up to 27 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The EX trim uses less fuel, achieving up to 29 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
Interior
The 2024 Kia Soul has a spacious interior of 120.9 cubic feet, giving lots of room for people and cargo. With the rear seats folded down, the Soul has up to 62.1 cubic feet of cargo space, useful for many hauling needs. The car's infotainment system is built around an 8- or 10.25-inch touchscreen display, making navigation and entertainment features easy to use. For music lovers, the GT-Line has an available Harman Kardon premium audio system that improves the in-car listening experience. The Soul also works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connecting smartphones easily.
Safety Features
The 2024 Kia Soul comes with a set of safety features designed to prevent accidents and protect people inside the vehicle. All trims have forward collision-avoidance assist, which helps prevent front crashes. Lane-keeping and lane-following assist work together to keep the car in its lane. Higher trims offer more safety technologies, including blind-spot collision warning and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go is available on the GT-Line.
