With seating for up to seven, a comfortable ride, and a new look for this year, the 2024 Kia Sorento is ready to take you on any adventure. And with eight available trim levels, there are plenty of standard and optional features to choose from. Keep reading to discover what sets each of these trim levels apart.
1. LX
Starting off the Sorento trims, the LX features a 2.5-liter, 191-horsepower engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This trim level seats seven across three rows, and has smart safety features like Rear Occupant Alert, Blind-Spot Detection Technology, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist. Drivers will also appreciate the Smart Key with Push-Button Start and Remote Start, allowing you to start the engine from outside the vehicle or from inside without taking your key from your pocket or purse.
2. S
The Sorento S brings the LX’s features and adds more, like 18-inch gloss-black wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and SynTex seat trim with heated front seats. Wireless phone charging and 8 USB charging ports keep all your devices from running low on battery, and dual-zone automatic climate control lets the driver and passengers choose separate temperatures.
3. EX
Adding to the S trim, the EX features a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 281 horsepower and 3,500 lbs. of towing capacity. Second row captain’s chairs bring the seating capacity to six, and a Smart Power Liftgate opens hands-free without gestures. This trim also features 20-inch gloss-black wheels.
4. X-Line EX AWD
This trim includes the EX’s features and adds all-wheel drive, Drive Mode Select with Snow Mode, and an 8.2-inch ground clearance. X-Line styling gets applied inside and out, including unique X-Line gloss-black 20-inch wheels. The panoramic sunroof allows both front- and rear-seat passengers to take in the views from above.
5. SX
The SX also improves upon the EX’s features, adding a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Also included are safety features like Highway Driving Assist and Blind-Spot View Monitor, as well as convenience features like Digital Key 2, which allows you to use your phone as a key.
6. X-Line SX AWD
Building on the features of the SX, the X-Line SX AWD adds all-wheel drive, Drive Mode Select with Snow Mode, 8.2-inch ground clearance, and high-utility roof rails. Also included are X-Line exterior and interior styling and 20-inch gloss-black X-Line wheels.
7. S-Line SX Prestige AWD
In addition to the X-Line SX AWD features, the S-Line SX Prestige AWD offers leather seating, 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio System, and heated second-row captain’s chairs. Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist is also included, which can alert you to obstacles in your path as you back up.
8. X-Pro SX Prestige AWD
This trim level adds extra utility to the S-Line SX Prestige AWD, with 17-inch gloss-black alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, and an improved towing capacity of 4,500 lbs.
