Featuring up to 54 MPG on the highway and a wide array of standard driver assist technologies, the 2024 Kia Niro is a hybrid vehicle with a lot to offer every driver. Five well-equipped trim levels let shoppers customize their ride and features. Which trim level is right for you? Below, we’ll summarize the features that come with each of the Niro’s trim levels to help you decide.
1. LX
The Niro LX comes with standard features like 16-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, and dual-zone auto climate control. An 8-inch touchscreen display includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, making your phone’s messages, maps, and music available at a glance.
This trim level includes several advanced safety features, like Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, which activates when backing up. It can alert you to vehicles approaching from either side and apply the brakes if needed. Other standard safety features include Auto Emergency Braking Technology to help prevent collisions, Blind Spot Detection Technology to alert you to vehicles in your blind spot, and Lane Following Assist to keep the Niro centered in its lane.
2. EX
The EX improves upon LX standard features with added roof rails, a power driver’s seat, and heated front seats. There’s a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display with navigation and SiriusXM Radio, and a wireless phone charger to keep your devices charged more easily. With the Smart Key with Push-Button Start, you’ll never need to take your keys out to open the doors or start the engine.
Rear parking sensors alert you to objects in your path when in reverse, and auto rain-sensing windshield wipers adjust speed automatically to match the speed of the rain. Smart Cruise Control lets you set cruise control on the highway while maintaining a safe following distance from the vehicle in front of you: even bringing the Niro to a full stop if required.
3. EX Touring
This trim adds styling features to the EX, like 18-inch alloy wheels, gloss-black exterior accent trim, LED interior lighting, and alloy sport pedals. To let in more natural light when you want it, the EX Touring also includes a power sunroof.
4. SX
The SX adds several convenience and comfort features to the EX, like a power sunroof, ventilated front seats, and front parking sensors. Audiophiles will appreciate the SX’s Harmon Kardon Premium Audio System, perfect for listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more. For easy access to the rear cargo area, the Smart Power Tailgate offers hands-free opening.
5. SX Touring
This trim level adds some sport and styling features to the SX, including 18-inch alloy wheels and alloy sport pedals. Additionally, LED projector headlights let you see more of the road ahead at night.
